FAQ
What if I watered it too much or had one too many drinks and now there is water pooling in the bottom?
- Since this is a coaster and it is designed to protect your furniture, there is no drain hole. If there is too much water and the soil is saturated, simply tip the coaster over and pour out the water. Take care to ensure your plants don’t fall out!
Can I take the top plate off to clean underneath?
- At this time, the coaster is designed to be one, water-tight piece. Perhaps for the next version we can develop a way to do this.
The pot and plants are so TINY, how do I plant these things?
- I found that a spoon, a chopstick and tweezers were the best tools for planting. Add your soil mix to the bottom of the pot, filling about 2/3 up. Use the chopstick to create a shallow hole for the succulent. Place the succulent in the pot and then add soil around the plant until full. Use the end of the chopstick to gently move and press the soil around the plant. Tweezers are good for arranging multiple small plants. Blow away any soil that fell into the main coaster portion. After planting, make sure the soil becomes fully saturated with water (have a couple drinks in celebration! or just drip about a tablespoon of water into the coaster).
